Weekly Specials Good September 23 to 26
Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
Autumn officially arrived yesterday, which means we can now say this with complete authority: Fall has fallen.
Whether Wisconsin intends to cooperate with the calendar is another matter entirely. There may still be one last burst of summer hiding somewhere out there, but for now, cooler evenings and heartier dinners are beginning to feel right at home.
This week’s specials include Fresh Extra Lean Ground Chuck, Jacobs Own Maple Breakfast Links, Door County Cherry Marinated Chicken Breasts, Lean & Meaty Pork Steaks, Jacobs Own Cajun Andouille, and Smoked Pit Ham Lunchmeat.
Our Brats of the Week are Beer and Mushroom & Swiss.
The timing of those Beer Brats could hardly be better! Oktoberfest is underway in Munich, and Appleton’s own Octoberfest takes over College Avenue this Saturday. Consider this your opportunity to get into the spirit a little early.
Whether dinner calls for burgers in a skillet, pork steaks in the oven, something smoky and spicy, or a breakfast that deserves a little maple magic, we’ve got plenty to work with this week.
Meanwhile, Lawe Street remains closed, but progress is becoming considerably more visible. Cement is going down, and somewhere beneath all that construction chaos, the new and improved road is beginning to take shape.
Jacobs is open, easy to reach, and exactly where we left it. Take Meade Street to Pacific Street and follow your appetite!
Stop in, share a smile, and stock up for the week.
Weekly Specials pricing is good Wednesday through Saturday, September 23 through September 26, while supplies last.

I'm not saying I'd be a great museum guide...
but I could do a docent job.
